I like to make applesauce all the time, and I like to make a lot at once because I do not have a lot of free time. I usually make 4 jars of applesauce in a month. Sometimes, my family would be able to use them all up, but there are times when we get some leftovers. Could I freeze them for longer storage?
Applesauce can be used in a lot of recipes and is definitely something that most households have. The nice thing about it is that it can be stored in the freezer to be used for later.

Some people like to add spices in their applesauce. If you’re one of them, be sure to put the spices after thawing. Spices lose flavor when frozen, so it is better to add them once the applesauce has defrosted.
It is advisable to pack your applesauce in amounts that you intend to use for one recipe to prevent thawing and refreezing.
